  • What to look out for in 2027

The 2027 Wimbledon Championships will return to the All England Lawn Tennis Club from 28 June to 11 July 2027, bringing two weeks of world-class Grand Slam tennis to London’s famous grass courts. One of the biggest storylines will be the return of Jannik Sinner, who heads into Wimbledon 2027 as the defending Gentlemen’s Singles champion after defeating Alexander Zverev in the 2026 final. The victory gave Sinner back-to-back Wimbledon titles, making his pursuit of a third consecutive crown one of the standout stories to follow at Wimbledon 2027.

In the Ladies’ Singles, Linda Noskova will arrive as the defending Wimbledon champion following her breakthrough triumph at The Championships in 2026. Her title defence will add another fascinating dimension to the Wimbledon 2027 women’s draw, as the Czech star attempts to retain the prestigious Venus Rosewater Dish against the leading players in women’s tennis. The defending doubles champions will also return to the spotlight, with Henry Patten and Harri Heliövaara having won the 2026 Gentlemen’s Doubles title and Hanyu Guo and Kristina Mladenovic taking the Ladies’ Doubles crown.

Beyond the defending champions, Wimbledon 2027 promises another packed fortnight of singles, doubles, mixed doubles, junior and wheelchair tennis, culminating in the prestigious finals on Centre Court. With the tournament scheduled across 14 days, attention will build from the opening rounds towards the quarter-finals and semi-finals before the Ladies’ Singles Final on Saturday 10 July and Gentlemen’s Singles Final on Sunday 11 July 2027. Combining elite tennis with the traditions and atmosphere of the All England Club, the 2027 Wimbledon Championships are set to be one of the major highlights of the international sporting calendar.
