important information
At WorldChoice Sports, we turn sporting dreams into unforgettable journeys.
Travel Insurance
Worldchoice Sports does not provide travel insurance as part of any booking. It is the responsibility of each customer to arrange appropriate travel insurance before travelling. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased at the time of booking to ensure you are protected should you need to cancel your trip before departure.
Your travel insurance policy should provide adequate cover for your individual circumstances and should include, where appropriate:
- Cancellation and curtailment of your trip.
- Emergency medical treatment and hospital expenses overseas.
- Medical assistance and emergency repatriation to the UK if required.
- Personal accident, illness or death.
- Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings and travel documents.
- Travel delays, missed departures and other unforeseen disruptions.
Customers should carefully read their policy documents to ensure the level of cover is suitable for their destination, planned activities and any pre-existing medical conditions.

HEALTH
It is the responsibility of every customer to ensure they meet all health and medical requirements for their destination before travelling.
Depending on your destination, this may include:
- Receiving recommended or mandatory vaccinations.
- Undergoing health screening for infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis, where required.
- Carrying evidence of vaccinations or medical certificates if requested by local authorities.
- Ensuring you have sufficient prescription medication for the duration of your trip, together with any supporting documentation if travelling with controlled medicines.
We recommend seeking advice from your GP, practice nurse, pharmacist or a specialist travel health clinic at least eight weeks before departure, as some vaccinations require multiple doses or take time to become effective.
Up-to-date destination-specific health advice, including vaccination recommendations and disease alerts, can be found on the TravelHealthPro website:

PASSPORTS & VISAS
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport and obtain any visas or travel authorisations required for their destination before travelling.
Passport Validity
Passport validity requirements vary between countries. Customers should always check the entry requirements for every country they intend to visit, including any transit destinations.
For UK passport holders travelling to most European countries within the Schengen Area:
- Your passport must have been issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the destination country.
- Your passport must be valid for at least three months after the date you intend to leave the Schengen Area.
These requirements are subject to change, and customers should verify the latest guidance before travel.
Visas and Travel Authorisations
Some countries require visitors to obtain a visa before travelling, while others operate electronic travel authorisation (ETA) or visa waiver schemes.
Examples include:
- United States – Most eligible travellers must apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before departure.
- Canada – Most eligible travellers must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
Applications should always be made through the relevant official government websites.
USA -
Apply for ESTA
Canada - Apply for ETA
It is anticipated that the EU will soon be implementing a visa waiver scheme for EU Citizens within the Schengen Zone. This is not currently in operation but is scheduled for late 2026. For more information, please see here: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias
