AFC Bournemouth made club history in the 2025/26 season, securing qualification for the UEFA Europa League for the first time ever. The Cherries finished an incredible 6th in the Premier League, their highest top-flight finish, to book their place among some of Europe’s biggest names for the 2026/27 Europa League.
It marks another extraordinary chapter in Bournemouth’s rise. After establishing themselves in the Premier League, the club will now take their supporters across Europe for competitive European football for the very first time.
Bournemouth will enter directly into the Europa League league phase, guaranteeing a minimum of eight European fixtures – four at home and four away. The Vitality Stadium is also cleared to host the club’s European league-phase matches.
