Milan is easy to get around thanks to its excellent Metro, tram and bus network. The Metro is usually the quickest way to travel between the city’s main attractions, while much of the centre is also easily explored on foot. Milan Bergamo Airport is around 50 km from central Milan, with regular coach services connecting the airport with Milano Centrale station.
Weather and Climate
September in Milan is generally warm and pleasant, with average daytime temperatures around 24°C, dropping to around 15°C at night. There is still plenty of sunshine, although occasional rain and thunderstorms are possible, so a light jacket or waterproof is worth bringing.
