This information is for people travelling on a full ‘British citizen’ passport from the UK. It is based on the UK government’s understanding of the current rules for the most common types of travel.

The authorities in Turkey set and enforce entry rules. If you’re not sure how these requirements apply to you, contact the Turkish Embassy in the UK.

Passport validity requirements

To enter Turkey, your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 150 days after the date you arrive and at least 1 blank page.

Renew your passport if you need to.  

You will be denied entry if you do not have a valid travel document or try to use a passport that has been reported lost or stolen.

Dual nationals

When returning to the UK, British citizens must carry a valid British passport or certificate of entitlement. See Dual citizenship.

Visa requirements

You can visit Turkey without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, for business or tourism.

If you hold another type of British passport, you will need a visa and should check visa requirements with the Turkish Embassy or Consulate General before you travel.

Worldchoice Sports does NOT offer transfers to the airport. it is the customer's responsibility to make their own way between the airport and the stadium.

TAXIS - The most direct way is to take a taxi. This should take approximately 50 minutes in optimal conditions between  Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) to Beşiktaş Stadium.

SAW Airport is located southeast of the city centre, approx. 35 km from the city centre.

Getting to the city centre

Free airport shuttles to the city centre will operate on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 May.

Alternatively, take M4 to Ayrılık Çeşmesi and change onto B1 - Marmaray line for Yenikapi and other connections.

⚠️ If arriving by commercial flight on matchday, you should plan to land no later than 15:00 local time. Travel times within the city can be longer than expected, so plan ahead to ensure you don’t miss kick-off.

1 - I have booked online. When will I receive my flight document?

As you can appreciate, we are very busy around the time of a major final. If you book immediately following qualification, you will be in the first batch of ticketing to be processed. We aim to have all documentation with you no later than 3 days prior to the flight departing.

2 - Is my money secure?

Yes, Worldchoice Sports, as Sporting Events Global LTD are an ATOL-bonded tour operator. We have taken thousands of sports fans to major events over the past 20 years.

3 - Do you offer insurance?

No, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have suitable insurance. We strongly advise that you take a policy that covers you from the date you make your booking until at least the date of your return

4 - Do you offer refunds?

We are taking advance bookings prior to qualification. If your team fails to qualify, you get a full refund. Should your team qualify for the final, the booking is automatically confirmed and no refunds will be applicable.

If you are unable to travel after your booking has been confirmed, this would be an issue for your travel insurance provider.
