Racing at Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix has long been one of the highlights of any Formula 1 season. This incredible circuit with its rich variety of flowing corners, technical turns and blazing straight offer several overtaking opportunities for the drivers, and scintillating action for the fans packing the grandstands.
The 7km Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is built deep in the picturesque Ardennes Forest which not only provides a stunning backdrop for racing but creates a wickedly undulating circuit and in turn, some of the world’s most famous corners. Eau Rouge and Raidillon at turns 3 and 4 are an iconic left-right flick and sweep that is iconic in the history of the sport, while the turn 1 hairpin at La Source has sparked incredible drama in the past, and watching the cars race through the high-speed Pouhon corner is a sight to behold. This undulating nature also lends itself to some unrivalled vantage points around the track. A brand-new grandstand atop Raidillon provides thousands of fans a second-to-none view of the circuit, while general admission areas are located throughout the track, including alongside the back Kemmel straight.
