The South Grandstand stretches alongside the braking zone at the end of the high speed straight that cuts through the pleasant surroundings of the Marina. You will be ideally placed to watch this key part of the circuit, where spectacular overtakes are likely. You will see the field weave through the Turn 11 chicane before accelerating hard out of 14. You will then have a great view as they sweep round the yachts and the Marina, before disappearing under the illuminated Yas Viceroy Hotel.
Located on a hairpin turn, North Grandstand offers a unique experience, with extensive views of the circuit. Since 2021 the turns 5/6 chicane has been removed, creating a thrilling new overtaking opportunity into the hairpin. It was here that Max Verstappen passed Lewis Hamilton at the 2021 finale on the final lap to secure his first world championship. From here you will be able to see the cars take the tight hairpin turn, then speed straight onto the longest straight of the circuit.
Marina Grandstand – SOLD OUT
With its similarly spectacular backdrop and views over the same section of track, the marina grandstand is in a premium spot of the track. Squint and you’ll see passes for position at turn 9 but it’s the corners opposite which really grab the attention. The two medium speed turns 10 and 11 feed into the low speed turn 12. From the high speed straight to this combination of corners the Marina Grandstand is an excellent point to see Formula 1 cars under various conditions.
Entry tickets include access to the post-race concert for the relevant day. Previous years concerts have included P!nk, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Chemical Brothers, Lionel Ritchie, Lana del Rey and Prince.

How to get to Yas Marina Circuit
Yas Island is inundated with cabs on race weekend. A trip from the center of Abu Dhabi to Yas Island should cost in the region of 70 Dirhams each way (around €15), and can take you directly to the entrance gate in the morning. Free shuttle buses ferry racegoers out of the Marina and to nearby car parks full of taxis after the event. The best place to catch a taxi home after the concerts is near the entrance to Ferrari World and Yas Mall, a short walk from the exit of Du Arena.
A free park and ride shuttle service runs for those coming into Abu Dhabi for the race, too. Just show your race ticket to be admitted. Routes 170, 180, 185 and 190 run from the city centre to Yas Island, and numbers 195,200, 201,203,300, 302 and 304 operate from the city’s suburbs.
Buses also run on Yas Island itself, since it’s around 2.5km from the South Grandstand to the du Arena (more details on Yas Express).
Several hotels operate their own complimentary shuttle service for guests visiting the Grand Prix. Parking can be pre-booked for Yas Island Marina, but permits are limited (one per three ticketholders) to encourage car sharing and limit congestion.
